Best surprise ever...

Wednesday morning, 21st of March 2007. I was at my house, procrastinating before going to the University. I was a little bit worried, cause it was Katie's birthday and I still hadn't talked to her...weird...
Anyway. I didn't have much to do, so I was starting to think that I should go to the University, when my mum appeared in my room. She was going shopping and wanted me to stay until she came back, so I could use the car to go to the University. Even more weird... my mum offering me her car? Something started to smell bad...
Oh well... never mind, it seemed too good to be true. Waiting until she came back didn't sound as a bad option...
15 minutes after she left, my dad called me. It seemed like he was going to receive a really important package and it was very important that I stayed home until it arrived. This one sounded more normal, it happened before...
So I stayed home. Nothing strange happened until... the doorbell rang. Elisabeth went to open the door, and I went after her in case it was the package my dad told me about... what a beautiful package it was!!

I couldn't say anything else but... PERO QUE COÑO HACES TU AQUÍ? Not very romantic, but I was in shock! In shock and in my pajamas, so I run to the ducha.
That was a surprise like in the films! It turns out that everybody knew except for me. My parents, brother, cousin, Elisabeth (the maid (!!!!))... some of my friends knew for months!! She did a good job keeping it secret, I have to admit it...

That week was like heaven! Like a summer condensed in a week. Unexpected happiness!
Since I didn't know that she was coming, I had to improvise all the plans. One thing was sure, this time, we would meet as many friends as possible, cause there were a lot that didn't know her.
We had lunch with my godfather, his wife Olga and his daughters at the "Casino de Madrid". WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE! I had to wear a suit and she wore a dress. We looked strange at the metro, but once we entered the place, we knew why we had to dress like that... Excellent place, excellent food and excellent company! They were really nice., everybody talking in English. Muchas gracias Padrino!!

That night we went to have dinner with Martuky e Iñaki to an Italian restaurant. Martuky, as nice as always. Thank you too!!
That was the beginning, we hung out with soooooooooo many people... We went to Teleco, cause I had a soccer match with Sandwich Mixto, and met a lot of telequit@s.

We went to see 300 with Chus y Alicia (btw, UNBELIEVABLE! I loved it! Seriously recommended, but you have to see it in VO, because the spanish voices are crappy...)

We also went to the Pantano, we had lunch with my godfather & godmother.

We went to Trucha's house to meet all my school friends, cause they were having a Poker game. She was the only girl in the house, but it wasn't a big problem... at least not for my friends who acted completely normal... maybe too normal.. :P

We also went to Kapital! We went with Nikki (who was also spending a week in Spain)and her friend Jana. That was fun too!

But not everything was going to be having fun with friends... I have a lot of family curious about her. We had the traditional & crowded Sunday lunch at my grandparents house, with Tío Anton & Blanca, Angela & Rafael, Cris & Paco... craaazy! My grandpa was still the same, talking in English with her (still surprises me! How can he talk English like that? He hasn't spoken it for soooooo long...) and very happy.

We also hung with Marta Gómez-Ulla, Vaishali (we went to her birthday party at the Irish pub) & Io.

As I said before and as you could see, we met A LOT of people. Not bad, considering that I didn't know she was coming... ;)
For the big end, we went to see Hoy no me puedo levantar. We had seats on the very first row, it was amazing! We could see the people dancing right next to where we were sitting...
And that was pretty much all! We had a lot of fun, like always when we are together. It sucked saying goodbye, though... it always does...
Can't wait to see you again!!!

P.S: Have u seen my brother's metamorphosis??

Pretty cool, uh? Now he's Michael Scofield! :D
Pictures in Flickr, as always!!
